I have my book published on the frontpage on my site with shortcode as a thumbnail and lightbox, which I do not like because it is very small, but I cannot seem to get the full screen version to work properly on my phone. the full screen button on the bottom meny doesn’t work with fullscreen shortcode. Do you know why? Is there a setting I need to change? I am using a standard iphone 7 plus. Nothing unusual.
Also, it takes a very long time for the thumbnails or fullscreen books to load on the frontpage which is hurting my website loading results. Can you please tell me why it takes so long to load the book images and why it takes long to load pages when i flip them.
I bought this plugin to replace ISSUU on my frontpage and I thoiught that this would be just as smooth, but it is not. I am using a VPS server so there should be no reason for the slow performance. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
the site name has changed from italnews.org to italiandirectory.com. I am still experiencing all of the same issues listed above. Any help would be greatly appreciated as this site is live and it doesn’t present well to our viewers/ Thank you.

1)IOS does not support full screen api.
2) use an image as the book thumbnail for speed. And optimize your PDF for web – reduce images quality.

Can you please tell me how to use an image as the book thumbnail for speed? The PDF files are compressed to the smallest possible size. The original PDF size is more than 400mb and now it is approximately 50mb. There is no way to make it smaller without severe degradation to the quality, which is unacceptable. It seems like others on your support page are also having problems with slow loading. I hope that you can help me with this issue.

One of the reasons of slow loading can be that plugin load all pdf instead of just requested pages because of PDF structure.

The problem in PDF structure – it requires full loading before displaying any page. Try to optimize the documents for WEB. ISSUU works fast because it rebuild the source PDF in its own structure.
The documents have already been optimized for web. They have been compressed to the smallest size they can go. Your plugin also gives a very poor score for my site on gtmetrix.com. At this point I don’t think this plugin will work for this website so I will probably not use it. Is it possible to get a refund for this plugin?
