Hello. I installed the paid version of this plugin and now my lightbox version doesn’t work. Here is some background information.
I installed the free version of the flipbook and it all worked fine. Lightbox/full-page mode all worked fine. Also, the publish field Flipbook icon worked fine. I could use it to generate the shortcode.
Problems:
I replaced the free plugin with the paid version and I am getting the following problems. The lightbox method isn’t loading at all. It didn’t display any thumbnail. Also, the publish field Flipbook icon isn’t working. When I click it nothing happens so I can’t even add a shortcode for the flipbook.
Finally, when I go to Shortcode Generator within wordpress dashboard, it is blank. Actually, I see two emtpy boxes and no text on the page. It doesn’t break the wordpress admin – it just doesn’t show any information on the page. No tabs, text, etc. Just two empty textarea inputs.
Any ideas how I can fix this. I need this on a live site today or tomorrow if possible.
How did you replace the plugin: FTP or with WP Dashboard (deactivate light version then install PRO)?
I think I uploaded via FTP and then deactivated light
Remove the light version. Extract the paid archive and install the archive from the ‘dist’ catalog in the extracted folder. Use WP default functions instead of FTP.
I already had tried that option, as well. Nothing. My solution was to just completely remove the paid version. It’s unfortunate because I paid for a software that isn’t working for me.
Try to install it on a clean WP. If the light version worked, pro has to work as well.
Sorry. It doesn’t. I’ve tried it various times. Light works. Pro doesn’t.
How do you install the PRO version? You should extract the paid archive and install the ZIP from ‘dist’ folder. What errors do you get?
