3D FlipBook - Load Time with Flipbook

I am seeing what may (or may not be) an issue with the initial load time on our web site. We just set up a staging environment and the home page has a sample flipbook. Testing this at times, it is a fast load of less than 5 seconds. At other times, it seems to take longer of maybe up to 10 or so seconds. Is this the normal load time?

Another quick question. Is there a way to add addtional content on the generated flipbook? For example, can the flipbook itself display other text content under the navigation bar - like name, email, contact info, etc?
