3D FlipBook - Shortcode links not active with v1.16.13 and WP 6.7.1

Not sure if just my site (with latest Astra theme) but a shortcode link such as this: [3d-flip-book mode="link-lightbox" pdf="https://123.com/xx/document.pdf"]Document[/3d-flip-book] will appear with the word 'Document' underlined, but moving the mouse arrow over the word does not bring up the pointy finger and hence it does not open/link to the file.
I reverted to 1.16.6 which is the last version I could locate and the shortcode links are working as they should. The word 'Document' as above will appear without an underline, and when moving the mouse arrow over the word, the pointy finger will appear along with the underlined word and the pdf will open.
Just letting you know.

Hi, we need a link to page on your site for debugging. It works as expected on our development environment.
Okay, it looks like it is specifically Microsoft Edge. Bring up a FlipBook link to open in a light box on Edge. It will open the light box first time, but on a page reload, the link no longer works. At least that is how it is acting on my page and likely the customer who called me to tell me.
