3D FlipBook - Hardcover book

I am evaluating the jquery plugin and have some questions. I am trying to simulate a hardcover book. Cover thickness is 3 mm, page thickness is 0.5 mm.

Here is my configuration: cover.depth = 0.003 (I assume it in meters) page.depth = 0.0005

The issues:

1. pages fall through cover texture.
2. can't make the cover look hard, it has a "wave" effect.
