3D FlipBook - Jquery plugin doesn't work in production environment

Even though the plugin was running in the development environment, it stopped working as soon as I released it to the production environment. The server uses EC2 for the development environment and heroku for the production environment. When you click the button to display the pdf, the loading icon is spinning all the time.
