Hi I have 6 questions:

  1. How can I set that the pdf is starting on an even pagenumber? I´m extracting articles from a magazine and if one is from page 4 – 10, the pages get grouped wrong i double page view, since page 4 becomes single start page.
  2. Can I use file path [3d-flip-book source=”example.com/wp-content/uploads/file.pdf" type="thumb" ][/3d-flip-book] instead of creating each flipbook. Will it load slower?
  3. Where to put pdf-files to keep them safe? Is it just wp-content/uploads and make file name hard to guess?
  4. Somewhere I saw a converter to make jpg-flipbooks, do you recommend? pros/cons
  5. Whats the difference between this plug in and Dearflip?

Hi,

  1. In pages tab you can remove useless pages, there is no other customization, only edit the PDF.

  3. plugin requires http access to pdfs, if you want to protect them it is better to use images.
  4. jpg- raster, pdf- vector worse quality.
  5. this one has mach more features and more realistic view.

  1. I don´t have useless pages. But what I want to do is being able to use Double page mode, without first page being single. If I display a pdf containing only page 2-5 from a magazine I want them to be grouped 2-3 and 4-5 as original. Not 2 and 3-4 and 5.

  2. Yes, it will load slower?

  3. In the clip above the url is shown in sourcecode so user can download file. No way to prevent?

  4. Can you specify pros / cons?

  5. What features? Important to me is fast loading...
