Looking to purchase Pro version because plugin is excellent but have a pre-sale question.
In the free version, I notice single page BLOB files can be pulled from the browser resources and the plugin references in the source code contain the direct link to the uploads/ folder where the PDF can be directly downloaded.
Does the PRO version have more security for the document, if not, are there any security recommendations to protect the original PDF?

Hi, no there is not any protection. Just convert to images.
Best bet if on Wordpress is to install Publishpress permissions. Then you can set permissions of the actual PDF preventing any access and of course permissions of any pages etc per user role or per user.
