I’ve been trying to figure this out for many, many hours now, going through forums, comments, the documentation, and I can’t for the life of me figure out how to create a URL to open my PDF in the I3F widget within a lightbox.

To be fair, I do NOT code – I loathe coding, and would rather kick puppies (and I LIKE puppies!) – so a GUI interface usually serves me well. And though I3F has a moderate GUI interface, it seems this is something I’m going to need to do with some scripting, though I can’t seem to decipher the right coding “Magic”.

So, I can create a URL that will open my PDF to a specific page OR to a specific ‘Named Destination’ that I created within the PDF, and that works fine. And I can setup my I3F Book and the right parameters for the shortcode so it shows on a page as an icon that opens the PDF. BUT, I can’t get it to open a specific page, and the “Deep linking URL parameter name” doesn’t work either, as separate code in a URL link or trying to set it in the FB3D parameters box (which doesn’t allow characters of any kind except a dash, only letters and numbers otherwise).

I’m trying to get fancy – and complicated – by using Image Mapping to create map points with rollovers with business information on a local map image – kind of like Zillow – and within those rollovers have a different button that opens a Lightbox over the page with my 3D Flipbook in it, but to a specific page or ‘Named Destination’ for that business within the PDF.

With that in mind, what are ALL the steps I would need to take to accomplish this with your plugin. Pretend I’m an idiot (not hard to imagine in this respect, honestly) and you have to teach me every step to walk from point A to B.
