3D FlipBook - installation failed

Perhaps this will help: the zip file you get from this site, called, "3d-filp-book.zip" is NOT the file you upload to Wordpress. Instead, you need to uncompress it and find the folder called, "dist." Inside of it is the actual plugin zip file! It too is named "3d-filp-book.zip," which is totally confusing and the wrong thing to do, but that's the way the developer has named it. Upload that file to Wordpress. In my case, it still won't run correctly, but perhaps you'll have better luck. Cheers, Eric

You install a wrong archive. Remove the light version. Extract the paid archive and install the archive from the 'dist' catalog in the extracted folder.

so, I removed LITE version of 3D Flipbook as instructed and tried repeatedly to install just purchased PRO version... keep getting error message: DESTINATION FOLDER ALREADY EXISTS. /var/www/wp-content/plugins/3d-flip-book/. I just paid $35 for a PRO license and this upgrade should not be so hard to do... HELP!

Remove all versions what you have: pro and free, then extract the paid archive and install 3d-flip-book.zip from the extracted folder. 'dist' catalog was removed to simplify the process.

I am sorry but I do not find any file or folder named dist in the download from your website... are you telling me if I remove both free and pro plugins and then upload the 3d-flip-book.zip it will now load?

I see a License Key with my purchase... would seem that I should easily be able to add the activation key to the FREE plugin installed to upgrade to the PRO version... like most PRO plugins I have purchased... no?

Unfortunately WordPress.org does not let to do this. So you need to reinstall the plugin to get pro version. Install 3d-flip-book.zip it should work.

unfortunately I did remove FREE plugin and reinstall but there must be a directory in the Wordpress database that still has the plugin name... here is exactly what I get upon reinstall:

Unpacking the package ... Installing the plugin ... Destination folder already exists. /var/www/wp-content/plugins/3d-flip-book/ Return to Plugin Installer

Can you remove this directory /var/www/wp-content/plugins/3d-flip-book/ using ftp? Actually this is directory of pro version, free version has another name. I guess something went wrong.

sorry to say this is too much work for no compensation from my client... I will continue to use the FREE version our your software... how do I go about getting reimbursed for my $35 purchase of the PRO version?
