3D FlipBook - body tag empty

  • I'll try to keep this short. I need to install this on 3 different sites. I first demo'd the free version of the plugin on a DEV site for my client. No problem.

  • I then purchased the plugin (via Envato) for my first site and was able to successfully set up 99 Flipbooks. No problem.

  • Now I'm trying to get my second site setup with the Pro version (purchased via gumroad.com) but no matter what I try, I end up with empty body tags where the Flipbook should be. I've emptied all caches, tried numerous browsers, tried different PDFs, disabled CloudFlare, tried both the File and URL methods of creating the Flipbook, disabled my ad/script blockers, and it's always the empty body tag (in the Flipbook iFrame).

  • What else can I try to do to fix this?

  • Also, where does the license key from gumroad.com go and why didn't I get a license key from Envato?

Hi,

Envato and Gumroad versions are the same. Envato takes huge fees - 70% so i want to leave it.

Write a link to the problem page.

I would prefer to not put a link to the page on this message board - can I email it to you and if so, at what email address? support@3dflipbook.net?

Support helped me off-forum and they determined that I was getting a 404 when calling the file /plugins/3d-flip-book/assets/templates/default-book-view.html. It turns out that this was due to a rewrite rule in my .htaccess file - the rule removed ".html" from all requests (due to the site being converted to a WordPress site a couple of years ago). I removed that rewrite rule and now everything works!
