Hi,

Can you point me to where do you evaluate the path to the pdf file when showing the post? My wordpress is installed in a subfolder and there appears to be a problem where the post renderer is incorrectly evaluating the path.

Thanks.

Yours,

Graham

Hi!

I use ‘guid’ in post database table or file url in media as path to the pdf. If you want to see code have a look at projects3d-flip-book-editsrcclassesGeneral.js line 42 – admin side, creation of a new book and then projectsfullscreen-modesrcuildOptions.js line 26 – client side.

WordPress stores the absolute paths in the database so it should not to be the reason of the problem.

Could you detailed describe what do you do to understand what is going on?

But I will try to install WordPress in subdirectory and reproduce the issue.

Best regards,

Ivan.

Hi,

Thanks for coming back quickly, and for taking on the php 5.6 changes.

I am testing a flip book called test.

I got not found when I did Dashboard: 3D flipbook/test: and hit [preview changes]

I get a different failure when using it … the filpbook does not work at all. Please see http://www.graham-barnett.co.uk/

Thanks.

Yours,

Graham

Hi,

Try to change view mode when you insert the book into a post, by default it is thumbnail and I can see thumbnail on the page http://www.graham-barnett.co.uk/, it looks like it is working. Select mode thumbnail and lightbox. Then the icon becomes clickable. Have a quick look at the manual there is written in details how to manage view options.

Best regards,

Ivan.

“I got not found when I did Dashboard: 3D flipbook/test: and hit [preview changes]” – I am not shure but this could happend because current theme in your wordpress does not support viewing different from standart posts and shows page like not found, but it is not important because you need to use a little in a different way, see the manual please.

Thanks for the quick turnaround …. beyond the php compatibility it is working well.

Preview changes … let me fix the minimal theme – that is on me – thanks for spotting it is a theme issue :-)

As a thumbnail I was getting errors as the thumbnail.css was reported as not loading (it is empty). Is it worth marking it non-empty?

Mode thumbnail and lightbox … thanks … I have changed it and now can click.

FYI – I have worked around IDM auto-download interceptor by using the ‘Manager download types’ plugin, and changing application/pdf to be pdf|pd9, and uploading as pd9. Great to see you looking up media by application type.

I have been looking at the options. How do I control the buttons visible on the navigation e.g. removing and disabling the download button? I did not spot an options for that.

Many thanks.

Also … is there any way of making the first page a double (optionally?)

You can use any page several times have a look at tab pages there is a command add page, then you will be able to put it in any place – first, second and so on – so there is a way. In 3 days there will be available update it lets to customize buttons and a lot of other things. I am thinking now about specific customization for download button and download url in next version I am going to let to customize it from admin side.

thumbnail.css – i have done css files in hierarchical way but some of them have a little content even have no one maybe it will be better to unite then into one file I will think about it.

Thanks for your notices.

Best regards,

Ivan
