Hi – great plugin by the way.

I’ve installed the plugin on a Wordpress site. The thumbnail takes quite a long time to load so it’s not clear the flipbook is available for approx 3-4 seconds.

Is there anything that can be done to speed up the thumbnail load time please?

Hi!

Use an image as the flipbook thumbnail (General tab-> select image) – it will be much faster.

The plugin uses AJAX to fetch some data from the server. Your server have quite big Waiting TTFB (Time To First Byte) 2.5 sec – probably waiting for the database connection. If you want immediate appearing the thumbnail image use the “Lightbox activation link” view mode:

But anyway the thumbnail will unclickable about 3 sec.
